How to use the data?

The data is delivered in CSV format, which makes it very easy to import into virtually any data store.

Where does the data come from?

The data is periodically pulled through the 4chan API. This API is currently free to use, but you’ll not be able to read all of the historical data (only what’s currently in the catalogue and the archive).

What other fields are included with the post data?

As well as post contents, a lot of other metadata is included with each post (depending on the board).The full list of fields can be seen described here.

Are deleted posts and threads included with the data?

Yes, threads which were deleted have a field indicating this.
